Internet Safety
Latest News
Years 5 and 6 received a very insightful internet safety session, delivered by Detective Constable Andrew Kevan from the Cyber crime unit at Cheshire Constabulary. Andrew will be visiting the school again in March 2026 to start a series of sessions with all children from FS2 - Y6 about staying safe online. Andrew will also be running a parent information session and a staff training session.
Digital Champions
Our new Digital Champions initiative has now launched. The digital champions have already started a lunchtime club helping the younger children in the school with Scratch jr and have designed their logo. They are currently creating a staff survey to see how teaching staff can be supported with IT issues and during computing lessons.

We will be recruiting again as we say goodbye to our current Y6 champions. Applications will be open to current Y5 and Y4 children.
Safer Internet Day 2025
Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online!
We celebrated Safer Internet Day in February. We learnt all about online scams in our whole school assembly and carried on our learning with fun and exciting classroom activities, including a BBC live lesson. The children came up with some fabulous posters to demonstrate what they had learnt about keeping themselves safe online and protecting themselves from online scams.
“If something seems too good to be true it probably is” Nevaeh -Y6
“Report, Block, Avoid” Dami- Y6
“If a money sign comes up it might be a scam” Sophia- FS2
